Scottish Sgian Dubh the sgian-dubh also Skean Duh (Pronounced Skeen Doo), or Scottish Black Knife is a small, single-edged knife (Scottish Gaelic: sgian) worn as part of traditional Scottish Highland dress along with the kilt. Also referred to as a Scottish Sock Knife. Was often hidden when entering a home as a guest as it was custom not to enter another persons house armed.

The Kingdom of Arms replica crusader medieval arming sword features a hand hammered 5160 carbon steel blade as the originals were made, full tang, heat treated and tempered as the originals. Handle is Kamagong Ironwood with notched grip designs and steel accents. The tang is mushroomed over the top of the Crown.  The sheath is wood with steel accents. 

Hand Forged Skean Dubh is evocative, to say the least, but that's why you're drawn to it in the first place.

How to Use

Fully functional dagger and traditional Scottish utility knife. Can be used for self defense or food preparation, whittling, etc. Tuck into the hose of a Kilt with only the handle showing to complete traditional Scottish Dress.
