Perhaps one of the most unique designs in the Forge Direct range, the Dragon Boar Hunting Spear is the traditional Chinese version of the European "epieu de chasse" - a dis-mountable screw on dagger attached to the end of a heavy duty, stainless steel pole. This is the second boar hunting spear from forge direct, the extremely popular Tiger Boar Killing Spear however was discontinued in favor of this new and more attractive version - available at the same relatively low price.
The blade is 1095 carbon steel, mastersmith forged blade is folded in the traditional style to give the steel an attractive Damascus pattern and then professionally polished to bring out the detail and sharpen the edge until it is paper cutting sharp. The steel pole it attaches to is made from stainless steel and decorated with Dragon themed engravings.
Do not be fooled by cheap and nasty imitations, this sword is the real deal. Almost never seen out of China due to the uncertain market demand and high expense of production.
