While there are quite a few minor points of difference from the original blade as seen in the movies (pictured above, currently housed in the London Film Museum) – primarily a smaller pommel and crossguard, longer hilt and different blade geometry, the basic elements are all in place: from the solid brass fittings, wire wrapped handle and overall appearance – but make no mistake, the replica by Legacy Arms is a fully functional BEAST of a sword.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
