1347 - Two Handed Medieval Sword of Svante Nilsson More Details

A truly unique design, this powerful two handed sword is the perfect balance between functionality and elegant appearance.

Designed to be wielded with two hands, the 34" blade comes with a narrow 1.4mm edge so you can actually use it in blade on blade contact (CAREFULLY and RESPONSIBLY of course – please see our section on sword training and fighting on the main site for info) however it can also be sharpened if so desired, either by yourself or you can pay an additional fee of $30 for it to be given a quick and ready edge if you want to use them for test cutting practice.

The hilt itself is extremely attractive and authentic, with a mild steel crossguard and stitched genuine leather wrap handle.

Below are a couple of photos detailing the S shaped handguard.

While the narrow neck where the blade and shoulders meet and the S shaped guard are quite unique, the pommel is perhaps the focal point of this elegant design.

A unique and powerful fighting sword that was wielded by a unique and powerful nobleman, it is an accurate replica of the sword found in his tomb in 1958.
