Bought this sword on a whim as I immediately thought it to be somewhat gimmicky. However it was being offered at a great good price so I "bit"! Sooo glad I did. I was thinking I was going to have it around just for aesthetics but this thing is a reality nice cutter! Its lightweight and really moves with you. I ended up using it as my main cutter. Everything on it was tight and well made. It was sharp right out of the box and has been thru lots of tatami in the short time I've had it. Very happy with this purchase .
