Do not underestimate the small size of this fully functional, master smith forged replica of a blade from the 1794–1804 White Lotus Rebellion, the Cleaving Saber. Despite being only 22" from tip to pommel, it packs quite a surprising punch both in the cut but also quite a good thrusting blade.
Such a blade could be easily concealed, which was required by the anti-tax/anti-outside forces interference rebels loyal to the mysterious White Lotus society 21 years after the Boston Tea Party rebellion which had similar sentiments and overtones. But the Boston rebels could only dream of a blade like this one..
Folded and differentially hardened, like many master smith forged blades it seems to have a life of its own when it cuts and is exceptionally fast in the hand yet delivers rather frighteningly effective cuts and deep penetrating thrusts.
