Glamdring, known as the Foe-hammer, is one of the most legendary swords in J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. It was originally forged for Turgon, the King of Gondolin, during the First Age. This sword has a rich history and is intricately tied to many significant events and characters.
The Story and Meaning: Glamdring was discovered by Gandalf the Grey in "The Hobbit," within the treasure hoard of trolls. This sword, alongside its companion blade Orcrist, was crafted for the Elven king Turgon and wielded during the battles of Beleriand. When Gandalf found Glamdring, he took it as his own weapon, recognizing its value and power. Throughout "The Lord of the Rings," Glamdring serves Gandalf faithfully, glowing blue in the presence of Orcs and other evil creatures.

Its balanced a tad over 4" from the guard and weighs a reasonable 3lbs 7oz for a 35" long blade!
