The Japanese Kozuka is a small knife mounted in the sheathe of a Katana sword - a small, utilitarian blade used for whittling, cutting food or anything else where using a sword would be overkill.
Based on this ancient design, the S-TEC "Kozuka" features a low maintenance 8CR13Mov stainless steel blade - a poor choice for swords, but an excellent selection for shorter knives like this one. Great utility knife for fine tasks as it is decently small like it probably should be. It is very sharp and has an excellent grip and for only $25 it is a very high quality knife. A great knife to go along with a katana like how the kozuka was originally used for.
Overall I would definitely recommend it though it is pretty small but no more than it should be.
