Let's face it, there are some really ugly and uninspired EDC (Everyday Carry) knives on the market these days. But the D2 Steel Tanto Folding Knife by Proelia is most certainly not one of them.
With lines inspired by Tanto of the Samurai Warrior, it features a prominent modified Tanto with re-curve blade and being made from ultra tough D2 Steel tempered to perfection over 20 years using a propriety multi heat treatment process developed in house. The blade has a very smooth opening and closing action, based on the caged ball bearing system invented in the 1740s by John Harrison simply because it is a time tested, proven design that works!
Connected to the blade is a slip proof, element resistant G10 handle - created by layering glass fibers and soaking them in epoxy before heating and compressing the stack until the epoxy is dry. The end result, an extremely strong yet very lightweight modern handle built from the best the 21st century has to offer.
