The 'Bolo' was and remains a fairly broad term in the Filipino language for any small to medium sized sword with a curved wide blade that narrows towards the hilt and can be used both as a tool and a weapon of war. This concept has been repeated many times in many different eras and regions, from the Egyptian Khopesh to the Greek Kopis, the Gurka Kukri and many variants of the Bolo in the Philippines and South East Asia just to name a few.
Optimized for fast but incredibly hard hitting and devastating chopping attacks, this intimidating tactical version is made using modern monotempered 1060 carbon steel and almost one piece construction, fused to the ABS hilt and bolted in place with three metal pegs and includes a modern wearable leather scabbard to make it the complete package.
