An original design by esteemed sword tester and designer Jason Woodard, this Elven‑inspired blade brings a sleek, mythic aesthetic to the brutal functionality of the Doomsday Series. Unlike the heavier fantasy choppers in the line, this sword features a single‑edged cutting profile with graceful elven lines, giving it a fast, fluid feel while retaining the overwhelming durability Scorpion Swords are known for. With its extended grip and balanced handling, it delivers powerful, decisive cuts while remaining agile enough for rapid follow‑through strikes. As with all Scorpion Sword builds, the full tang is sandwiched between the fittings and secured with both small and large pins along with a generous amount of epoxy resin, creating a fused, near one‑piece construction that is extremely difficult to break.

The blade is crafted from 1095 high‑carbon steel, and when combined with Chris Palmer’s superior heat‑treatment process, results in an exceptionally tough and almost indestructible sword. The blade is heated to approximately 1500 degrees until non‑magnetic and then quenched in brine. It is then tempered at 500 degrees for two hours and allowed to air cool, producing a Rockwell hardness of around 57. This process gives the sword the resilience needed for heavy cutting while maintaining a keen, reliable edge.

Like all Scorpion Swords, each piece is individually handmade by Chris Palmer in his Missouri workshop. These are not factory‑produced blades. Every order is crafted as it is received, and high demand often makes it difficult to keep any models in stock. Please allow approximately 3–5 weeks for completion and delivery.
