APOC Survival Longsword
Ultra durable 9260 Spring Steel Blade designed by the legendary Gus Trim. 32" long blade with two handed handle grip. MSRP $219
After everything hits the fan and the muck has settled, all the symbols that represented the best man had to offer (honor, compassion, liberty, truth, trust, dignity, integrity, justice) are laid waste to give way to what now matters most: survival. In the twilight of man’s morality, a new symbol emerges to bring law to the foreboding chaos to come .. the APOC Long Sword.
Birthed in a design reminiscent of a gilded time the Broad Sword strips away the gaudy to give you a cold blade of 32 1/2” that gives you further reach than its Broad Sword cousin. Featuring a double cutaway in the blade profile, the APOC Broad Sword’s dexterities are quick, light, strong and sharp with all the features of the series to help you stand alone in broken world.
The black textured fiberglass sheaths are fitted to a Molle compatible kydex platform that allows you to secure your swords to belt or pack in multiple carry positions. For belt or sling carry setups the platform has four slots 1 3/8" long and 1/8" wide. A notch in the handle and the platform allows for stealth unsheathing as well as locking the sword securely for inverted maneuvers. No preparations for the end times are complete without an APOC tactical sword for when the bullets run out, the knives are too short and your life is on the line.

Ok, Pro; I was not expecting this. Very very impressed. It's large and imposing, while still being light and agile. It swings like a cross between a gentleman's jian and a Conan's barbarian sword; heafty enough to connect with force, while quick enough to thrust with ease. The point of balance is optimal, making it useful to a myriad of combat styles. The look is modern, sleek, and the handle can be fully (and quickly/easily) disassembled with a simple set of hex keys. This sword is sturdy and built to last.
It is immediately my favorite sword, as well as the strongest and most durable. I've been looking for a quality sword that could truly stand up to real combat for years and I finally found it. The scabbard looks great, snaps into place so well I could carry the sword upside down for a long hike and it didn't fall out. The spiked pommel is a nice touch (because sometimes that's the closest point to your opponent.) Now that i see this sword, I think I also need it's broadsword cousin.
On the con side; the guard seems a little... minimalistic. Fully functional of course (solid inch-long, angled guards with a groove) it just "looks" like it's missing something. There are slight imperfections to the piece, but for the cost it easily stands up against thousand-dollar swords.
A perfect longsword. A perfect modern tactical sword. An incredible find. I am certain to buy more apoc stuff.
