Scratch and Dent Sale
Listed in late March 2020 - here is a selection of scratch and dent sale items, one offs, returned items and other swords - all with clearly marked descriptions of the issue (and photos whenever possible) - all being liquidated at true BARGAIN prices.
As there is only one of each piece available, if you see something you like you had best pull the trigger on it before someone else beats you to it. Please note that unless DOA, all sales of these items are final and no returns are possible.

The Forge Direct Chinese Laminated Duan Dao.
Scratch and Dent Issue: Blade was warped during heat treatment and could not be corrected. Was accidentally shipped, should not have passed QC. Warp is not significant enough to effect actual cutting performance.

The Tang Dynasty Yi-Dao by Forge Direct Chinese.
Scratch and Dent Issue: This one should NOT have passed QC, with multiple minor issues that should never have been present on a sword valued at close to $2000 (primarily, an inferior blade polish) - hence the stupidly deep discount (see description for the full details).

26" T10 Differentially Hardened Master Smith blade with partial bo-hi and premium blue/black themed fittings - a rejected Forge Direct Japanese Elite Custom Katana ($699.99).
Scratch and Dent Issue: Extremely minor comsetic misalignment of the seppa (spacers). Otherwise, the sword is in exceptional condition.

28.5" T10 Differentially Hardened Master Smith blade (Choji hamon) with all black fittings - a rejected Forge Direct Japanese Elite Custom Katana upgraded with buffalo horn fittings on a mother of pearl saya ($729.99).
Scratch and Dent Issue: Upgraded Buffalo horn fitting has a rough appearance and an error made during customization requiring a full remake for the original customer.

Scratch and Dent Issue: Some dings on the saya, used handle and blade with a few marks from cutting. Was returned but not in original condition - hence the massive discount.
