Introducing: Swordier Tameshigiri Series

A New Era of Precision and Craftsmanship

After 6 months of rigorous testing, refinement, and three comprehensive test cycles, we are thrilled to unveil the Tameshigiri Series from Swordier.

Swordier, a Longquan-based sword supply company, caught our attention earlier this year with their clean lines, impressive tempering, and very fair pricing. We have collaborated closely with them on this and several other projects to bring you these exceptional swords.

The Tameshigiri Series features blades made from 65mn Spring Steel, 5160 Spring Steel, or T10 tool steel (for the blades with a real hamon). The end result, swords that are not only lightweight (due to the distally tapered blade) but also incredibly robust, with the Spring Steel monotempered versions offering exceptional durability. Despite their affordability, these swords do not compromise on quality or detail, making them a perfect choice for both practitioners and collectors.

Check out the first four swords in the Tameshigiri Series below and experience the remarkable blend of precision, craftsmanship, and value that Swordier has to offer.
