Blades of Japan

Our selection of Antique and modern made (Gendaito) Samurai Blades direct from Japan.

Here we focus primarily on two areas - primarily a selection of partially and fully restored antiques and swords made after world war II by modern smiths (Gendaito). Most are entry level blades, though we do have the occasional treasure and some real 'diamonds in the rough'. Plus we also have a section featuring antique hand made sword fittings.

While the full history of each sword is largely unknown, whenever possible we include all relevant certification and if so desired, blades without NBTHK certification can be sent away for Shinsha examinations.

All prices based on the lowest mark-up possible - finally your chance to become the next custodian of Japanese history in steel..
