John Boorman Inspired Excalibur Sword Closeout Sale

With a blade inspired by the 1981 classic film Excalibur by John Boorman, who was in turn inspired by a painting of a historical 11th century Scottish sword, the replica by Legacy Arms (formerly Generation 2) is a timeless classic..

While there are quite a few minor points of difference from the original blade as seen in the movies (pictured above, currently housed in the London Film Museum) – primarily a smaller pommel and crossguard, longer hilt and different blade geometry, the basic elements are all in place: from the solid brass fittings, wire wrapped handle and overall appearance – but make no mistake, the replica by Legacy Arms is a fully functional BEAST of a sword.

It was one of the first swords I ever reviewed on SBG, and while there have been several special offers over the years (when it is actually in stock that is!) with Legacy Arms moving to a new supplier, it is time for the original model to be retired – and to help the last of the stock move we are offering it at a CRAZY discounted price point..

Indeed, our recent price break on all Legacy arms Swords saw it reach it lowest historical price EVER of $399.99 – but from now until the end of the month and while stocks last you can pick this classic blade up for the ridiculously low price of just $299.99!

Considering that until recently the best price on this sword was $475 and it went as high as $519 – it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that at the current $299.99 closeout price this classic model will not be around for much longer. So don’t miss out, grab this bargain while you can, I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
