While they may or may not arrive in time for Christmas, the new line of Dragon King Swords has just arrived at CAS Iberia and are available to order at the SBG Sword Store with our usual low prices (these should normally sell for $499.99 each, but at the SBG Sword Store you can save $100!).

Originally scheduled for early 2016, Christmas has come early for collectors of high quality, reasonably priced swords with this exciting new line.

The Seasonal Katana Series represents an entry level katana with traditional handle construction and cotton tsuka-ito (wrap) and real same (ray skin). Designed for regular cutting, the 5160 high-carbon steel blade is through-hardened for toughness.

Having designed over 600 different cold weapons in his 20-year career, to say that he and his team have mastered and advanced their craft would be an understatement.

The Dragon King brand does not represent a company that just manufactures products but embodies a group of artisans who have been adeptly trained to duplicate ancient skillsets that can’t be automated by machines on an assembly line. Not every blade that is forged becomes a sword. Not every casting that is poured becomes a component of a greater piece. Launched only yesterday, we already sold out of the 5 ELITE versions with Choji Hamon (more are on the way ealy next year) but the good news is we just got stock of the BO-HI version of the full basic custom option sword..

The main difference between the two models currently on offer is the Custom Tsuba and Saya Option model has a black ito handle wrap as standard, is $20 less and has slightly fewer saya options (only those that best match black ito handles). The FULL custom katana as it stands has the same blade, but more saya options and your choice of 8 tsuka colors too for just $20 more, so which one you choose depends on what look you are going for.

If you want a traditional black ito style sword and are focusing more on the tsuba you like, the Custom Tsuba and Saya Option is for you:

If on the other hand you want to change out everything and want blue, red, white, gold, purple, green or brown ito and a matching saya style to go with it, well the standard Ryujin Custom Katana is the one you will need to get:

Just in time for Christmas, two container loads of new Hanwei stock has arrived and restocked some old classics across the board – plus introducing Hanwei’s newest blade for Zombie Slaying, the Hanwei High Performance Survival Kukri..

The restock is extensive, many blades that have not been available all this year are back – and much to my personal delight, so are two classic razor sharp cutting Dao including one of my favorite swords of all time, the Practical Gongfu Broadsword..!
