We regret to inform you that, effective immediately, Sword Buyers Guide will no longer be carrying Ronin Katana products – and that this has also caused us to temporarily close down Project X, Forge Direct as they were our partners in these projects and we are in the process of upgrading and re-tooling these projects accordingly. This decision was made after careful consideration and is based on several serious concerns that we have chosen not to disclose at this time due to potential legal implications.
We want to assure our customers that this decision is not related to the quality of Ronin Katana’s products, but rather to our commitment to upholding the highest standards of business practices.

As the old adage goes ‘all good things must come to an end’ and so it is with our recent $79.99 introductory price on the amazingly affordable Ryujin Horimono Katana line.
However, there’s two pieces of good news.
GOOD NEWS 1: The sale went very well. Not well enough that we can keep the special price any longer, but the new price is only $20 more, so it will still be on special – just not crazy special like it was for the sale..
GOOD NEWS 2: Until the end of the month, anyone who sees this post can STILL get the discount with a $20 coupon code!
The only caveat? You have to use the coupon at the time of ordering to get the discount, we can’t refund you if you forgot to add it or found this post after you already ordered (though if that does happen, contact me and while I may not be able to refund the $20, I’ll do my best to find a way to be as fair to you as possible).

Don’t panic, Forge Direct Chinese hasn’t gone out of business! But due to circumstances that I will explain in detail at a later date, we need to retool each model and mix things up a bit with a new and better supplier.
But for now, the entire line has been temporarily mothballed and cannot be ordered until we have finished the retooling and overhaul.
Sorry for the inconvenience as we know some swords only just came out, but it needs to be done to improve and maintain QC levels and keep pricing as low as possible (indeed, my hope is when the line does return, the prices will be even LOWER!).
